AREL College

Education

AREL Anatolian High School, founded in 1990, has a deep-rooted academic system. With its long history, strong academic program, and international education approach, it prepares students for universities both in Turkey and abroad. Since 2007, the school has been offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). This program supports students’ academic, social, and personal development in a complete way. At the end of the MYP, students can receive internationally recognized certificates. In Grade 10, they also complete a Personal Project, where they improve their research, production, and presentation skills.

With the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, students can take university-level courses in subjects they are interested in. This helps them apply to and get accepted by universities abroad more easily. The school also provides professional guidance for university applications, portfolio preparation, exam planning, and career choices.

The education program lasts 5 years, including a preparatory year. Students receive intensive English education so they can use the language effectively at an international level and improve their academic thinking skills. In addition to English, the school offers German and Spanish as second foreign languages. Students can also prove their academic skills through international exams.

AREL Anatolian High School also prepares students for the national university exam (YKS) with special study programs. From Grade 9, students follow planned and focused studies for the TYT and AYT exams. The Psychological Counselling and Guidance Unit, along with assessment and evaluation studies, supports students’ academic success and university preparation.

The school provides a comprehensive education that prepares students not only for national exams but also for leading universities around the world. As an official exam center for AP, SAT, and Cambridge Exams, it gives students the chance to take international exams. Preparation programs help improve students’ academic knowledge and skills, as well as their analytical thinking, reading comprehension, and exam strategies. With regular practice exams, individual feedback, and strategy-focused work, students reach a level where they can compete internationally.
